Energy flow for healing

When the flow of energy is disrupted in the human body, dysfunction and disease can begin to occur.  With a gentle touch applied over clothes, the Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner works to determine where the areas of energy blockage are present and utilizes specific hand holds on the body to clear stagnations and restore proper energy flow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jvOPfavvZs. This restoration of energy flow helps the body clean and rebuild while exhaling tension and stress which accumulate through daily living.  A Jin Shin Jyutsu hands-on session lasts about an hour. As the pain and movement limitations are decreased or removed, then more traditional forms of physical therapy such and balance and exercise can be added to help maintain the gains achieved.
